Teaching in Peru's Amazon

 

I turned my eyes toward Jesus as I prepared for my trip to the Amazon. During our time in this dense jungle, we rejoiced with the tribal nation of the Urarina Tribe. I taught alongside my partner, John Henry, on the topic of Ethno-Arts, Cultural Identity, and value that our God has given to Indigenous Peoples. I also shared about the 4^th world tribal movement of the Great Commission. For 8 days in the Amazon jungle, we hunted monkeys, we fished and saw authentic praise that the Urarina expressed to their Creator God. My heart is glad because we could announce, share, view, learn and encourage the Indigenous Urarina church of Peru.
