OUTREACH NORTH AMERICA MISSION 2015

OUTREACH NORTH AMERICA MISSION 2015
 (GUATEMALA, U.S., CANADA)
Tulio and Norelia Rosales 50 days

We have received an invitation to
support Alex and Jennifer, leaders of YWAM New Culture and to be co-leaders of the Native Wounaan DTS, short term outreach which will be in Oregon, Idaho in the U.S. and Victoria in Canada with the objective to show Jesus love to the Native nations.
We prayed during this year to be part of this outreach that God is doing, we would like to try to leave our own territory even though it will be a challenge. But with God it is possible. For years we have heard of the suffering, the struggles, the resilience of the Native people in North America and we want to know more about these peoples and see how we can help in the long term. Brothers and sisters, if God allows, this will be the first time that we will be able to visit these countries that we have wanted to visit for years as the majority of our friends have come from the North.

My wife and I are traveling together to the Wounaan DTS that will be a team of a total of 22 people. Our objectives will be to visit Indian reservations, make contacts in the US and Canada. The month that we will be traveling will be December 29th, coming back February 7th, 2015 and stopping in Guatemala where my wife and I will be teaching in a Native DTS within the Achi Indigenous reservation between the 9th and 13th of February. It will be a very long trip, but the Spirit of Jesus is motivating us to obey his mandate to the other nations, peoples, and tongues.
Where my wife and I will travel for 50 days and we will need $631.00 for the U.S. visa by October 13th. Our total budget is $7,000 that includes transportation, food, plane tickets, room and board, American and Canadian visa by December 2014 at the latest.

Embera Youth Camp

February. This month my wife and I taught and supported the Embera of Llano Bonito church youth camp that was held in Chagres River area. During those four days, we were sharing the love of God to young non-Christians and encouraging young people coming from different Embera churches in Panama to get involved in missions and holistic and sustainable projects. We spent four intense days with games, worship, and workshops. At the end, the Embera church was very thankful for the supoort. Our mission will help this youth camp next year in Errebache Colon province.

Embera Mission - Sambu 2012

Even though everything we go through in our life and in our walk with Christ Jesus, His love gives us strength and purpose to continue, and to finish our mission trip for 2012. We left, heading to the Embera territory of Sambu, where my wife, Norelia is from. She was sad that she could not go with our team. We visited three villages along the banks of the river for 10 days. Our objective was exploratory in nature and at the same time it was to make the love of Christ known to our Embera people.
We did workshops for youth, for families, and for missions in the church there. We used audio/visual methods and presented the Jesus film in Embera. During the week, we prayed for families and for youth that faced huge challenges in their lives with alcohol, drugs, and even involvement with the guerilla warfare. We also prayed for our land that God would guide us as to where the center of operations would be for the future Egoro Djiwidi Ministries location. We believe this region will be the home for our family and mission for the long term.
